Challenge

Coastal Hospitality Group operated eight successful restaurants across San Diego County, but their digital presence was fragmented chaos. Each location had a different website (some on Squarespace, some on Wix, one still on Flash), different reservation systems, and inconsistent branding. Guests couldn't tell the restaurants were related. Corporate catering inquiries got lost. And SEO was impossible—they were competing against themselves in search results. The lack of unified analytics meant they had no visibility into which marketing efforts actually drove reservations.

Solution

We built a unified digital platform that celebrated each restaurant's identity while creating group-wide efficiency: Unified Brand Architecture: Created a master website with distinct microsites for each restaurant. Shared navigation allowed cross-discovery ("Explore our other concepts") while each location maintained its unique personality. Integrated Reservation System: Implemented a single Resy integration across all locations with a unified group booking request system for large parties and events. Centralized Content Management: Built a custom CMS allowing centralized menu updates, event postings, and promotions while giving individual GMs control over location-specific content. Local SEO at Scale: Created location-optimized landing pages for each restaurant with unique content, proper schema markup, and neighborhood-specific keywords. Corporate Catering Portal: Developed a dedicated catering section targeting business lunches, corporate events, and private dining across all locations. Analytics Dashboard: Implemented unified tracking showing reservation sources, customer journey paths, and marketing attribution across the entire group.
